TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 12 February 2026 – Senior Warrant Officer Course (SWOC) 01/2025 concluded today with a Closing Ceremony for 13 Warrant Officer held at the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), Kampong Tanah Jambu.

Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Aeddie Masjaffrie bin Pengiran Haji Md Ja’afar, Commandant of Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Also present were the Acting Commandant of TI RBAF, the Deputy Commandant of the Naval Training Centre, and senior officers of the RBAF, including the Force Sergeant Major and Regimental Sergeant Majors from various units.

The cohort comprises of 03 Warrant Officer from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), 03 Warrant Officer from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), 02 Warrant Officer from the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and 05 Warrant Officer from Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF). The ceremony continued with the presentation of course completion certificates and award of excellence to the participants by the Commandant TI RBAF. The Overall Best Student Award was presented to Warrant Officer 1 Norasizam bin Jahari from Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

The Senior Warrant Officer Course is designed to develop Senior Warrant Officers with enhanced leadership capabilities, refined professional judgement, and a comprehensive breadth of knowledge essential for effective performance and meaningful contribution to organisational leadership and overall military effectiveness. To achieve these objectives, the course is structured around five key pillars that form the foundation of the RBAF Professional Military Education (PME) framework: Foundation Skills; Strategy, Policy and Doctrine; Command, Leadership and Management; and Joint Warfare. Collectively, these pillars reflect the RBAF’s renewed commitment to advancing military education across all ranks, thereby strengthening professional growth, operational readiness, and institutional excellence.
