JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE (JODC) 02/2025 CONCLUDES WITH SUCCESSFUL FOUNDATION SKILLS MODULE
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 11 November 2025 – The second week of the Junior Officer Development Course (JODC) 02/2025 concluded with the completion of the Foundation Skills Module, which laid a strong groundwork for participants to develop professional writing skills essential in military and academic settings.
LEADERSHIP MODULE EMPOWERS JUNIOR OFFICERS IN JODC 2/2025
TANAH JAMBU, Friday, 31 October 2025 – The Leadership Module for the Junior Officer Development Course (JODC) 2/2025 commenced on 27 October 2025, marking the beginning of an important phase in developing the participants’ leadership potential within the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). The Head of the Leadership and Management Centre (LMC) delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the importance of individual development with emphasis on leadership skills, critical thinking, and the foundational pillars of the RBAF core values.
INTERMEDIATE STAFF COURSE 25/2025 OPENING CEREMONY
TANAH JAMBU, Thursday, 3 July 2025 – The Opening Ceremony for the Intermediate Staff Course 25/2025 was held at the Defence Academy of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), Kampong Tanah Jambu, for 46 officers from the RBAF, which includes 1 officer from the Royal Brunei Police Force and 4 international officers from the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Republic of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Colonel Pengiran Haji Sharifuddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusof, Commandant of DA RBAF, officiated the event, which was also attended by Defence Attachés, Defence Advisers, and other invited guests.
JUNIOR OFFICER DEVELOPMENT COURSE 1/2025 MILITARY STUDIES MODULE
TANAH JAMBU, 27 May 2025 – As the Junior Officer Development Course (JODC) 01/2025 progresses into the end of the course, Week 5 and Week 6 emphasis Strongly on Military Studies Module, made up of War Studies and Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Systems & Policies Studies. The Module provides the course participants with valuable insights into the evolution of military in today’s world.
JUNIOR OFFICER DEVELOPMENT COURSE 1/2025 BRUNEI STUDIES MODULE
TANAH JAMBU, 16 May 2025 - In Week 4 of the Junior Officer Development Course (JODC) 1/2025, the course participants had the honour of receiving a visit from His Excellency Lieutenant General Domingos Raul “Falur Rate Laek“ to the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The visit offered a meaningful opportunity to engage with international stakeholders at a high level and emphasised the critical role of diplomacy in strengthening global defence collaboration.
JUNIOR OFFICER DEVELOPMENT COURSE 1/2025 SECURITY STUDIES MODULE
TANAH JAMBU, 09 May 2025 – During the Week 3 of Junior Officer Development Course (JODC) 01/2025, course participants had the honour of receiving a visit from the First Gentleman of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Prindon Sadriu to the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The visit provided a valuable opportunity for exposure to high-level international engagement and highlighted the importance of diplomatic presence in fostering global defence cooperation.
