TANAH JAMBU, 28 April 2025 – The inaugural Junior Officer Development Course (JODC) 1/2025, which began since 21 April 2025, has recently concluded the leadership module where the course participants explored the qualities of being a leader in the military environment.

The course participants have gained an in-depth leadership studies throughout the one-week module from diverse perspectives through engaging lectures, syndicate discussions and team building activities. This helps the course participants to successfully enhanced their communication and decision-making skills, increased their confidence in handling greater responsibilities, strengthened their ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, and gained valuable insights through networking and peer learning, all of which contribute to becoming more capable and adaptable young leaders. By the end of the week, they participated in team building activities designed to foster interaction and strengthen their comraderies among syndicate members in collaboratively solving problems.

Course participants also had the opportunity to visit the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) Library and Info Centre at Bolkiah Garrison, where they gained insights into accessing both physical and online collections of books, articles, and journals through the library system.
